Job Interviewy Goodness
Jun. 8th, 2006 04:21 pmWell, I just got a call from DoCEP, and they're going to be interviewing me for a job on Monday morning. It's just an entry level position I was applying for - I think the title was along the lines of "Bond Officer" or something. The pay probably won't be too great, but it's a public sector position, which is what I've been aiming for, so that's peachy.
Hopefully the interview will go well :)
In other news, I'm quite enjoying the financial benifits of full time work. I've already saved about $1200, and I bought some clothes and PS2 games. I got 3 new games, because EB were having a mad mad sale. GTA San Andreas is cool fun, about what I expected after GTA III & VC. Although the gansta-rap storyline and dialogue are things I can't really relate to, so playing it always feels a little odd. Fun, though. Hitman Contracts is pretty mint, although I kinda wish they'd make a Hitman game without a linear storyline. Farenheit is really, really good. Sort of adventure/skill-tester set to a backing of noir/mythology/pointless-sex-scenes. Really well designed and amazingly addictive - I played it through to completion in two days.
That's about it for now.
