Internet tomorrow, supposedly...

We're meant to be getting ADSL enabled tomorrow, so we just have to sort out cables and stuff and then I'll finally have Internet access from my own home again. Once again this update is coming to you direct from Tina's house.

So, what have I been up to lately?

I bought my ticket for the upcoming Bright Eyes gig today, so I'm feeling very excited about that. With the very small quantity of bands I like that bother to come to Perth, and the fact that I already missed out on seeing The Shins, I'm very chuffed that I'll get to see this one.

I also bought a new shirt, with the cover shot from Army of Darkness on it (the one that looks like the cover to a comic book or a pulp novel). It looks awesome :)

I haven't bought a new CD in ages, and it's driving me nuts.

I'll be reviewing CDs for Pelican again this year, which is cool. It means that tomorrow I get to pick up a free copy of the new Mars Volta album. Yay for free CDs.

I've been putting together a design for a Microphones shirt, with the help of Tina and her mad graphic design skillz yo. I'm going to go the the Freo markets on the weekend. Apparently there's a guy there who does t-shirts.

As many others have noted, there are so many new freshers! This is cool, but they shouldn't be allowed to sit on the couches. Dr Tom suggested putting them on the roof, but I like the idea of having them in cages, suspended from the ceiling. They do seem like an agreeable enough bunch, though.
